Opis produktu

ACRYLIT SL – thin-layered silicon plaster with a fleecy structure and high water resistance, to be used outdoors. Its closed structure does not allow pollutants to settle. It contains bioprotective coating agents (KOSBUDPROTECT formula), which prevent fungi and algae from appearing on walls. It also contains mica and functional mineral which increases binding properties and resistance to dirt. Available in white color or in one of the colors from Kosbud Color System palette.

The plaster is to be laid manually on facades over net-reinforced layers within KOSBUD ST thermal insulation systems on external walls of new buildings, whenever the existing thermal insulation does not meet thermal requirements or whenever it requires renovation works due to its technical condition.

Usage

HOW TO USE

Surface preparation:

The surface must be load-bearing, even, durable, clean, free of blooms and anti-adhesion coatings. Immediately remove old, cracked and peelings coatings. Adhesive layers reinforced with net which make part of thermal insulation systems should be completely dry 3 days after application. In order to even their absorptivity levels out, dry surfaces should be covered with GRUNLIT-ST primer whose color is compatible with the plaster shade.

Product preparation:

Acrylit SL is delivered as a ready-to-use product. Directly before use, mix the entire content of the package with a low speed mixer until the mass gets uniform.

Application:

Acrylit SL should be applied according to wet to wet method, forming layers whose width corresponds to the thickness of composite included in it, using a smooth stainless steel float. Then mash it with a plastic float by performing circular moves in one direction. You must organize your work so as to be able to cover the entire surface of the wall with no interruptions.

INSTRUCTIONS ON USE

Start applying the plaster no sooner than after surface preparation and once it becomes completely dry. During plaster application and drying, the surface and ambient temperature must be from + 5^oC to + 25^oC. To decrease the temperature of the walls and avoid too fast drying of the applied plaster, use appropriate protections. It is unacceptable to apply plaster when air humidity is more than 75%, in rainy (drizzle, rain) or very windy weather. The aforementioned conditions ought to be maintained at least for 48 hours following application. After the plaster is applied and before it completely dries, you are recommended to use protective nets or films to protect the plaster against too much sun or rain exposure. In that period, temperature drops below +5^oC are unacceptable. Higher air humidity in the autumn and winter extends the drying time. If you fail to observe the aforementioned recommendations or prepare the surface in a wrong manner, the plaster can become discolored and, in extreme cases, become less durable and loosen. As the product contains mineral fillers, it is recommended to apply the material from no more than one production batch on a given surface.

While selecting the color of your plaster, follow the instructions about UV resistance included in color charts. Colors with light reflection coefficient lower than 30% should not be applied all over the surface but merely as decorative elements. It is unacceptable to modify the product’s composition and mix it with products of other manufacturers. The manufacturer shall not be liable for your failure to observe the aforementioned instructions.

NOTE

In case of colored plaster, pay attention to the compliance of your shade with the color chart and to the compliance of shades in all the packages.

PRZECHOWYWANIE

Tynk przechowywać w szczelnym opakowaniu w temperaturze od +5°C do +25°C. Chronić przed nadmiernym nagrzewaniem i mrozem. Otwarte opakowanie należy szczelnie zamknąć. Produkt powinien być przechowywany w suchym miejscu na paletach w oryginalnym opakowaniu. Okres przydatności do użycia wynosi 12 miesięcy od daty produkcji umieszczonej na opakowaniu.
